Equipment

  • 1 Large cooking pot
  • 2 Frying pan
  • 3 Mixing bowl
  • 4 Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 5 Strainer
  • 6 Small pan (for butter sauce)

Materials

For Pasta:

  • 2 cups pasta penne o fusilli
  • Water for boiling
  • 1 tsp salt

For Chicken:

  • 250 g boneless chicken small pieces
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • For Yogurt Sauce:
  • 1 cup thick curd yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • Salt to taste

For Butter Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika optional

Instructions

Step 1: Boil the Pasta

  • First, boil water in a large pot. Add salt and pasta.
  • Cook until soft but not mushy (al dente).
  • Drain and keep aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and sauté for a few seconds.
  • Now add chicken pieces and cook on medium flame.
  • Add:
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Chili flakes
  • Cook until the chicken is soft and slightly golden.

Step 3: Prepare Yogurt Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix:
  • Thick curd
  • Crushed garlic
  • Salt
  • Whisk it well until smooth. Keep aside.

Step 4: Make Butter Sauce

  • Take a small pan. Melt butter.
  • Add chili powder and paprika.
  • Cook for a few seconds — don’t burn it!

Step 5: Assemble the Dish

  • Now comes the fun part…
  • Take boiled pasta in a plate
  • Add cooked chicken on top
  • Pour yogurt sauce generously
  • Drizzle spicy butter over it
