Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup small sago tapioca pearls
  • 2 large ripe mangoes sweet and juicy
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup milk optional for lighter taste
  • 3 –4 tablespoons sugar adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence optional
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Mango cubes for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Cook the Sago

  • Take a saucepan and boil 4–5 cups of water. Add the sago pearls and cook on medium heat.
  • Keep stirring occasionally so they don’t stick together. Cook until the pearls turn soft and slightly transparent.

Step 2: Rinse the Sago

  • Once cooked, drain the sago using a strainer and rinse it under cold water. This removes extra starch and prevents sticking.
  • Set it aside.

Step 3: Prepare Mango Puree

  • Peel the mangoes and cut them into pieces. Add them to a blender and make a smooth puree.
  • You can keep a few mango cubes for garnish.

Step 4: Mix the Base

  • In a large bowl, add mango puree, coconut milk, milk, and sugar.
  • Mix everything well until smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Add Sago

  • Now add the cooked sago pearls into the mango mixture.
  • Mix gently so everything blends nicely.

Step 6: Chill the Dessert

  • Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1–2 hours.

Step 7: Serve and Garnish

  • Take it out from the fridge, add mango cubes on top, and serve chilled.
