- Elbow macaroni – 2 cups
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- All-purpose flour maida – 2 tbsp
- Milk – 2 cups
- Cheddar cheese grated – 1.5 cups
- Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
- Salt – as per taste
- Black pepper – ½ tsp
- Garlic powder – ½ tsp
Step 2: Make the Cheese Sauce
Heat butter in a saucepan on low flame. Add flour and mix continuously to form a smooth paste.
Now slowly add milk while whisking. Keep stirring so no lumps form.
Once it thickens, add cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Stir until everything melts into a creamy sauce.
Step 4: Chill the Mixture
For perfect Mac and Cheese Bites, chilling the mixture well helps them hold shape easily. Keep the oil at medium heat for even frying and a crispy texture. Coat each bite properly with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs for best results. If baking or air frying, lightly brush oil on top for a golden finish. Serve them hot… because that soft, cheesy center tastes best fresh.
