Main Ingredients
- 500 grams chicken curry cut pieces
- 2 medium onions finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes pureed
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 green chili optional
- Salt as per taste
Spices
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
Optional Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons fresh cream
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- ½ cup curd for marination
Step 1: Marinate the Chicken
Take chicken pieces in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, and curd. Mix well. Cover and keep it for at least 30 minutes. Marination makes chicken soft and juicy.
Step 3: Add Ginger-Garlic and Tomatoes
Step 4: Add Spices
Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
