Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken wings cut into drumettes and flats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Wings

  • Wash the chicken wings and pat them completely dry with a paper towel. Dry wings become crispier when cooked.
  • Place them in a large bowl. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil. Mix well so that all pieces are evenly coated.

Step 2: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper. Place a wire rack on top if possible. This helps air circulate and makes the wings crispier.
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the tray.

Step 3: Bake the Wings

  • Bake the wings for 40–45 minutes. Flip them halfway through cooking. They should turn golden brown and crispy.
  • If you want extra crispiness, broil them for 2–3 minutes at the end.

Step 4: Prepare the Honey Harissa Sauce

  • While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce.
  • In a small bowl, mix harissa paste, honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Stir well until smooth.
  • You can taste the sauce and adjust the sweetness or spice level according to your preference.

Step 5: Coat the Wings

  • Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven. Place them in a large bowl and pour the honey harissa sauce over them.
