Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with butter paper or parchment paper.

Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Keep it aside.

Step 3: Cream Butter and Sugar

  • In another large bowl, add butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well until it becomes light and creamy.

Step 4: Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Add eggs one by one and mix properly. Then add vanilla extract and mix again.

Step 5: Combine Dry and Wet Mixture

  • Slowly add the dry flour mixture into the wet mixture. Mix gently. Do not overmix.

Step 6: Add Chocolate Chips

  • Add chocolate chips and mix with a spoon or spatula.

Step 7: Shape the Cookies

  • Take small portions of dough and place them on the tray. Leave space between them because cookies will spread while baking.

Step 8: Bake

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.

Step 9: Cool Down

  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
  • Your homemade chocolate chip cookies are ready.
