Ingredients
  

  • 6 –8 cloves black garlic peeled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional for sweetness
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon cornflour optional, for thickness
  • 2 cloves regular garlic finely chopped

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Black Garlic

  • Take the black garlic cloves and mash them into a smooth paste using a fork or blender. This will be the base of your sauce.

Step 2: Heat the Oil

  • In a pan, heat olive oil and butter on medium flame. Let the butter melt completely.

Step 3: Add Fresh Garlic

  • Add chopped regular garlic and sauté for 30–40 seconds until it becomes fragrant. Do not burn it.

Step 4: Add Black Garlic Paste

  • Now add the black garlic paste into the pan. Mix well and cook for 1–2 minutes.

Step 5: Add Liquids

  • Pour in the broth, soy sauce, and vinegar. Stir everything nicely so the sauce blends well.

Step 6: Add Seasoning

  • Add salt, black pepper, and honey (if using). Mix and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.

Step 7: Thicken the Sauce (Optional)

  • If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornflour with a little water and add it to the pan. Stir continuously.

Step 8: Final Cook

  • Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce becomes smooth and glossy.
