  • 2 Saucepan
  • 3 Wooden spoon or silicone spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 –3 garlic cloves finely chopped or crushed
  • Salt as per taste
  • Black pepper as per taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Melt the Butter

  • Take a medium pan and heat it on low flame. Add the butter and let it melt slowly. Do not burn the butter.

Step 2: Add Garlic

  • Add the chopped garlic to the melted butter. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Do not let it turn brown.

Step 3: Add Heavy Cream

  • Now add the heavy cream and mix well. Increase the heat slightly and let it simmer gently for 3–4 minutes. Stir continuously.

Step 4: Add Parmesan Cheese

  • Lower the heat and slowly add grated Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously so the cheese melts smoothly.

Step 5: Season the Sauce

  • Add salt and black pepper according to your taste. Remember, Parmesan cheese is already salty, so add salt carefully.

Step 6: Cook Until Thick

  • Let the sauce cook for 2–3 more minutes until it becomes thick and creamy. Do not overcook.
  • Your homemade Alfredo sauce is ready!
